SA国际传媒 County Schools Transportation will contribute significantly to the learning process by providing safe and reliable transportation.

Mission:

Our bus drivers and transportation department personnel are committed to providing safe, efficient and orderly transportation for all eligible students.  We will meet or exceed all safety regulations and recommendations while adhering to federal, state, and local laws and policies, and we will be good stewards of public funds.

Bus routing is completed utilizing a computer database with a geocode based road network.  The Transportation Information Management System (TIMS), which is utilized by school districts across North Carolina.

SA国际传媒 County Schools operates a fleet of 155 buses 205 drivers. We transport approximately 8,500 students to/from school and travel more than a million miles annually. 

The Transportation office provides basic day-to-day transportation from neighborhood bus stops for both division and schools; provides shuttle runs for mid-day transportation; provides late bus runs after normal school closing; provides transportation for schools' educational and athletic field trips; operates a transportation training center to provide well-trained drivers and attendants; supervises the purchase and maintenance of all school-owned vehicles; and ensures that each school bus driver has met all local, state, and federal requirements.

Our staff members are dedicated to the fulfillment of the CCS mission. We have 8 fleet maintenance employees who service and maintain our fleet in tip-top condition. Our technicians are ASE certified and receive ongoing staff development on proper procedures dealing with school bus maintenance.

Additionally, we have a strong professional staff in our office who provide quality customer service.
