    Are you looking for a way to contribute to the community?

    Consider mentoring a student, volunteering your time at a local school, connecting your business or community group with one of our SA国际传媒 County schools, or donating to the school district.

    SA国际传媒 County Schools welcomes individuals looking to make a positive contribution in the life of a child by serving as a mentor. Mentors agree to a 30 minute per week commitment during the school year that takes place at the student's school. Individuals and businesses can volunteer to mentor students, and many mentors provide academic support and tutoring to their mentees.

    Volunteers help in the classroom, library, with special events, and anywhere they are needed at all SA国际传媒 County schools. To get started, contact the school nearest you and offer your services. All volunteers must pass a background check.  Fill out the located on our district website. 

    If you pass the background check, you will receive a follow-up email for more information. If you do not pass the background check, you will receive a letter by mail notifying you of this along with various helpful resources.

    Notification of Criminal Charges and Convictions While Volunteering -- Please Read Carefully


    1. While volunteering, if an individual is charged with any violation of conditions used for
    possible rejection of volunteer participation, he/she shall notify the Assistant Superintendent
    of Human Resource Services within ONE business day listing the alleged charges and a
    narrative of the circumstances surrounding the alleged charges.  If the volunteer is
    hospitalized or incarcerated, the volunteer shall notify the Assistant Superintendent of
    Human Resource Services within two business days upon release from the medical center or
    law enforcement detention center.  Failure to do so may result in loss of volunteer privileges.


    2. While volunteering, if an individual is convicted of any violation of conditions used for
    possible rejection of volunteer participation, he/she shall notify the Assistant Superintendent
    of Human Resource Services in writing within two business days and shall provide court
    documentation detailing the disposition of the charges.  Failure to do so shall result in the
    dismissal of the individual as a volunteer with the school district.
